Here are 5 Reasons to include Srilanka at the top of your bucket list:

1.Food :

If best holidays are about food, then this island city of rice and curry is a treat for your taste buds. Srilankan food is absolutely delicious. Kottu roti, String hoppers, Sambal, Curry, coconut gravy and the mouth watering, delectable sea Food.
Sri Lankan food is full of spices and explodes with flavour.
And it is heaven for fruit lovers like me. Since it’s a tropical country, fruits in srilanka is home for some exotic and fascinating fruits that are uniquely sri Lankan
Srilanka is blessed with variety of fruits like Rambutan, Avocado, mangoes, passion fruit, mangosteen, wood apple. Fresh, nutritious & super delicious. The orange coloured coconut, known as King coconut or Thembilii in Sinhalese is immensely sweet compared to regular coconuts, refreshing with amazing health benefits and full of vitamins. Fruits here are absolutely cheap.
Food is one reason I would love revisit srilanka again.

Exploring the tea plantat
ions in Nuwara eliya & joining the Tea pickers to learn the process of plucking tea was such a memorable experience !⁣ The tea pickers, all women, climb the steep hills everyday, Carrying the large baskets on their backs loaded with freshly plucked tea leaves.

Despite the negativity surrounded srilanka due to the series of unfortunate events in recent months, I strongly believe that srilanka is safe to travel to.
